Our machine shop is equipped with a carefully selected range of CNC milling and CNC turning machines, each chosen to help us produce accurate components while maintaining efficient lead times. Our CNC milling department includes two Doosan DNM 5700 machining centres, which are ideal for producing precision milled components with excellent consistency. Alongside these is the larger Doosan DNM 6700, providing additional machining capacity for larger or more demanding workpieces. These machines enable us to manufacture complex components with high levels of accuracy across a variety of materials.
For more intricate parts, our UMC 500 5-Axis Milling Machine allows us to machine multiple faces of a component in a single setup. Five-axis machining reduces the need for repositioning, helping to improve accuracy while reducing production times. We also operate the Matsuura H.Plus 300, a high-performance horizontal machining centre that supports efficient production and helps us meet demanding delivery schedules.
To complement our larger milling machines, we have three HAAS Mini Mills. These machines are well suited to smaller precision components, prototype work and shorter production runs. Their flexibility allows us to respond quickly to customer requirements while maintaining the quality standards our business is known for.
Our CNC turning department is equally well equipped. The Doosan Lynx 220 LYC is an efficient turning centre that produces accurate machined components with excellent repeatability. For larger parts, we use the Doosan Puma 3100, offering increased capacity while maintaining tight tolerances. Our Doosan GT 2600LM combines turning and milling capabilities within a single machine, reducing secondary operations and improving production efficiency. We also operate the Doosan 2600SYII, which provides twin spindle and Y-axis functionality for manufacturing more complex turned components in fewer operations.
To support automation, we have invested in the UR10e collaborative robot. This cobot works alongside our production processes to assist with repetitive tasks, improve machine utilisation and support lights-out manufacturing where suitable. Automation allows us to increase productivity while maintaining consistent quality across larger production runs.
Quality remains central to everything we do. Our QUANTUM 4-8105 CNC CMM enables us to carry out detailed dimensional inspections, ensuring every finished component meets customer specifications.
